Scope and our role
This Privacy Policy applies to the Ledgez website, applications and related services on which it is posted (collectively, the “Services”). It explains how Ledgez LLC (“Ledgez,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.
When a business uses the Services, it may enter information about its own customers, employees, vendors, projects, measurements, orders, invoices and other business records (“Business Data”). That business is responsible for deciding what Business Data to enter and for providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required by law. Ledgez processes Business Data on the business's behalf to provide, secure and support the Services, subject to the applicable agreement with that business.

Information we collect
Information you provide
We collect information you provide when you request a demonstration, contact us, create or administer an account, subscribe to a Service, or use the Services. Depending on how you use Ledgez, this may include:
- contact and account information, such as name, email address, telephone number, company name, role and login credentials;
- company configuration and Business Data, such as customer and vendor contact information, project details, measurements, product configurations, quotations, orders, invoices, payments, accounting records, documents and employee access settings;
- subscription and billing information needed to administer a plan or process payment. Payment-card information may be processed by a payment provider rather than stored by Ledgez; and
- communications and support information you send to us, including requests, feedback and documents you choose to provide.
Information collected through use of the Services
We may collect technical and usage information when you use the Services, such as device and browser type, IP address, pages or features used, dates and times of access, referring URLs, log information, and information needed to maintain session security. We use cookies and similar technologies as described below.
Information from service providers and integrations
We may receive limited information from service providers that help us operate the Services, such as payment processors, security providers, hosting providers, email providers and support tools. If you enable an integration with a third-party service, we may receive information from that service as permitted by your settings and the third party's terms.
3
How we use information
We use personal information and Business Data to:
- provide, configure, maintain and improve the Services;
- authenticate users, manage access permissions, protect accounts and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- process subscriptions and payments, provide customer support, and respond to inquiries;
- communicate service, account, security, legal and policy notices;
- understand how the Services are used, diagnose and correct technical issues, and develop or improve features; and
- comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, property and safety of Ledgez, our customers and others.
Where permitted by law, we may use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you or your business to analyze and improve the Services.
5
Communications
We may send operational communications about your account, subscription, security, support requests, legal notices and changes to the Services. You cannot opt out of essential account and security communications while you maintain an account. If we send marketing communications, you may opt out using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting us. If you provide a telephone number for multi-factor authentication, we may send security codes and related account-security notices to that number.
6
Your choices and privacy rights
Account administrators and authorized users may be able to update certain account information in the Services. You may ask us to access, correct, delete or provide a copy of personal information that we hold about you, or to exercise other rights available under applicable privacy law, by emailing info@ledgez.com.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. Some requests may be limited where information must be retained for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention or other legitimate purposes, or where we are processing Business Data on behalf of a customer. In that case, we may direct you to the business that controls the relevant account.
7
Data retention and security
We retain personal information and Business Data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain the account relationship, resolve disputes, meet legal and accounting obligations, enforce agreements and protect against fraud or security incidents. When information is no longer needed, we may delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Account owners and users should protect their credentials and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
9
Children's privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Ledgez, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10
International processing
Ledgez is based in the United States and may process information in the United States or in other locations where Ledgez or its service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your location. Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate measures intended to protect the information.
11
Changes to this Policy and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated Policy will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. If we make a material change, we may provide additional notice as required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect is subject to the updated Policy.
